Chester is growing up, he arrived a very skittish, timid 5 month old puppy. Slowly he has matured in to a stunning looking boy, still slightly skittish and bouncy. With a routine he understands he is great, super affectionate loves to sit on your lap and he is a big boy! He did have separation anxiety for the first couple of months but this seems much better now, he has other dogs for company all the time. Can bark obsessively at things in the garden until you call him away. His recall in the garden is very good.

Please think about our special boy, Connor, he would just love a family of his own, someone to be his special person.

He is just 3 years old, a medium sized dog, vaccinated, Micro chipped and blood tested for the 4 Mediterranean diseases. Connor is hard of hearing not totally deaf, but will need that extra care and vigilance, he is a real soft calm easy going dog. His one vice is food very very food orientated, eats like he has never eaten before, gulps his food down, and will push other dogs off their food bowls given the chance.

He was rescued from a killing station in Vallencia, in a poor condition, skinny with a very greasy, dirty coat, but now his white coat is clean and soft.

Finn, a small Andaluz Podenco, found wondering the streets of our local village, very very skinny, he had a week at the vets recovering from his dehydration and malnutrition before coming to us, he is a really affectionate sweet natured boy older than most 7 years old

His blood tests are now all clear for Mediterranean Diseases. He was anaemic for a few months but good food has sorted that out and he is now fine.

He is castrated, we were hoping that would help with his need to pee everywhere, but a wee sample showed he has the start of crystals in his urine, so a special low protein food will sort this out quickly and cure the need to pee. Ready to travel now pleeease!!!!

A small Galgo, not quite 12 months old, rescued from a chain and a rusty barrel for a kennel, far too young to be neglected in this way. Very puppish in his behaviour, loves to play and run with other dogs, but a stunningly handsome chap.

He will need puppy training classes as he is just loving life and enjoying his freedom for now. In a lovely foster home with other dogs.

Blood tested for the 4 Mediterranean Diseases, castrated and micro chipped all ready to travel.

Roo, she is a smallish podenca, Height 18". and approx 2 years old.

She is a real sweetie and a cuddle monster. She lived on the streets of Turre for a least a month with people feeding her, the vet took her in and she lived there for a couple of weeks.

She gets on brilliantly with smaller dogs but doesn't like bigger ones (she probably sees them as a threat) and she will growl and snap at them to protect herself. She had just been treated for a hefty dose of ear mites which might have made her a bit grumpy.

Roo will settle very quickly into a new family, she walks nicely on the lead, is clean in the house, and is fully crate trained.

Puppy Noel was found over the Christmas period hence the name, but a trip to the vets soon put us straight he is approx 2 years old.

Noel his ears have a definite flop, he loves any attention, a smashing lad, pulls like a steam train on the lead, but he hasn't walked on a lead much so will need a little training and encouragement.

Vaccinated, microchipped and blood tested for the Mediterranean Diseases.

Poor Tom was found running along a motorway near Puerto Lumbreras, Murcia.

He was only 8 or 9 months old and was very thin. After some loving care Tom has grown and put on weight and is now a happy boy. He gets on well with other dogs and has not shown interest in cats. Tom is now around 12 months old and is looking for his forever home.

Negative for Leishmania, Filaria and Babesia. Currently having antibiotics for Ehrlichia.

Jannah came to us from a local farmer (in Murcia) who Kept her in an allotment and had used her as a breeding machine. She is a lovely, friendly (with humans and dogs), gentle and quiet middle aged girl who has known a proper life. She really deserves her forever sofa now after all that she has been through.

Neutered and blood tested for all Mediterranean diseases and is negative.

Fatani is a beautiful Podenco cross aged between 12 and 18 months old. She came to us very underweight and with various bald patches as though she has been kept in a small enclosure/kennel. She is a sweet girl who gets along very well with other dogs. She is not yet cat tested.

Neutered and blood tested for all Mediterranean diseases and is negative.

Pattie a medium sized Podenco, a little shy with strangers, but affectionate with the people she knows and trusts, loves to run and play with other dogs, be a great family pet so long as your house hold is not too hectic.

Pattie has come on in leaps and bounds, today she bound up to us very playful, asked to be stroked, stood and enjoyed being petted, She is super considering 2 months ago she trusted no one, eating out of a bowl that people put down for her at full stretch ready for flight. Going to be a cracking dog.

Jimmy, he has lovely markings on his face. a more chocolate colouring, and coming out of his shell slowly, pacing a little, but I think he has been kept in a crate when not outside, so the house is a little strange.

Evie, little black Podenca, she has been handed to IHR due to her family no longer being able to care for her, she is 14 months old and been in a home since a tiny puppy.

Evie is an elegant little girl, very Petit, she has settled in very quickly with our other dogs, but is used to having someone around all day and cries if we leave her, we will work on this, I don't think it will take long she is not over clingy in the house.
